How do you go about cleaning in my home?
From your initial enquiry, a comprehensive survey is conducted to establish what needs to be cleaned and in which order. If more than one area is to be cleaned, we generally work from the upstairs toward the main exit.
DeepSan provide free advice, we document our written estimate, plus commit to a fixed date and time for the work to be done.
How long will my carpets / soft furnishings take to dry?
We endeavour to leave carpets and upholstery as dry as possible. The drying process is moisture evaporation, so will be affected by room temperature and ventilation, we sometimes enhance this with turbo blowers. We also leave pads under the feet of furniture to prevent any marking. These can easily be removed when the carpet is completely dry.
Which stain protection system do you use?
We use and recommend the Stainguard Professional system
I have heard that carpets can quickly look dull after cleaning, is this true?
The old fashioned and inferior method of ‘shampooing’ carpets and upholstery is still used by some companies. The problem is that it leaves considerable residue behind, which dries and becomes sticky. It quickly attracts more dirt, dust and contamination which instantly bonds to the surface, making it appear very dull. It’s like washing your hair and not rinsing the shampoo out!
So how is your system better?
DeepSan use a vastly superior method to clean using modern, gentle micro-splitter technology. This three stage process comprises of:
- Removal of loose contamination by powerful vacuuming.
- A special treatment, similar to a non-stick teflon coating, is applied which encapsulates the contamination in the pile / fabric. The dirt and dust can no longer cling on and is very easily extracted with a powerful machine.
- The pile / fabric is rinsed using plain clean water, leaving it bright, fresh and outstandingly clean.
